Firstly, Cresta announced that the '70 Motor Yacht' will be Australasia's first vessel to demonstrate the highly anticipated 3rd generation IPS, IPS-1200. The 70 Motor Yacht is now set to raise the bar in luxury motor yacht quality and performance. The triple installation offers owners a massive 2700hp of standard pod drive propulsion. "Conservative performance predictions are pointing towards a maximum speed upwards of 40 knots, with a range of 600NM at a cruising speed of 26 knots" said Gavin Rooney, Regional Application Engineer, Volvo Penta Oceania. The 70 Motor Yacht will also feature Volvo's highly acclaimed Sport Fish Mode and DPS (Digital Positioning System).
