Andy Young of Boating Syndication Australia |
Sydney boating industry identity Andy Young has launched Boating Syndication Australia (BSA), a new concept in boat syndication based at The Spit in Mosman.
"We are focused on helping clients find the right boat for them, no matter where it may be," he said. "We can also bring together the right group of people to share in the luxury boating experience." Mr Young and his team at Boating Syndication Australia have managed 20 syndicated boats over the past six years so bring a wealth of experience to the company.
"Too often, syndication businesses are focused on selling shares in a particular boat. It is pre-packaged with a standard agreement, standard shares and standard service." BSA's first boat was a strong case in point, Mr Young said. He was approached by a group of four boating enthusiasts to secure a sport yacht and put together a program.
"We created the paperwork to set out each person's rights and obligations based on how they wanted to go boating. It is important to offer a personal touch as each client's requirements is different." He said BSA's focus was entirely on providing the ultimate in customer service.
"Whether you want just two to share or 10 is up to the owners," he said. "We can take care of the program agreement and managed the boat. We offer worry-free boating. when each owner arrives to take their vessel out, they know it is immaculately clean, stocked and ready to go immediately. We arrange everything on behalf of the owners, from insurances, berthing, licences and services all at reduce negotiated with the trades and we pass these savings directly on to the owners."
